Expected timings
You must apply to renew your residence permit before it expires: come to us in good time, not on the last day.
After the application is sent, the timings depend on the public offices (Questura, Prefettura, Ministry) and vary from case to case. We'll confirm them at our office.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get help in my own language?
At our office we speak Italian, Spanish, English and Portuguese. We explain every step to you clearly.
When do I need to renew my residence permit?
Before it expires. Bring your current permit and your work and income documents: we'll tell you what is needed and prepare the application.
How does family reunification work?
First you apply for the clearance (nulla osta), then your family member applies for the visa. There are requirements on income and housing: we check them together before we start.
Can you help me with my citizenship application?
Yes. We check the requirements, help you gather the documents and explain the Italian language requirement to you. We'll confirm at our office which documents you need in your case.
